Nordic Law acted as a legal advisor to Wamo Solutions in its EUR 10 million Series A financing round. TCEE Fund IV managed by 3TS Capital Partners led the financing round, which also included Oleka Capital and existing investors, with parties spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Helsinki and London, Wamo is an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, serving SME clients with a platform combining multi-currency business accounts and payment cards, invoicing, expense management, and financial management tools. Wamo’s customer base spreads across 30 countries and it intends to use the proceeds of the financing round to deepen its product features and accelerate AI tool integration. The Series A supports the company’s continued expansion across Europe and represents a significant strategic milestone in Wamo’s ambition to serve 100,000 SMEs globally.
Nordic Law’s involvement was led by our partners Anton Odabasi and Jon Hautamäki. Nordic Law advised from the completion of due diligence onwards, taking the lead on the negotiations and finalization of the transaction documentation. Our deep expertise in fintech and financial transactions ensured that all parties involved received clear and effective legal guidance throughout the multi-jurisdiction financing round.
